This corset was created using a pattern from the book "Corsets" by Jill Salen. I scaled the pattern and altered it to size.
The corset is made out of antique silk sewn together with two layers of lining. It is hand-corded in the front and boned with synthetic whalebone.
Hand-enbroidered flossing and eyelets were added for a decorative touch.

"DEMELZA"- LATE 18TH CENTURY ENSAMBLE
This ensamble was based on a costume worn by the character Demelza on the BBC's series Poldark.
It incluides a shift, a pair of stays, cotton petticoats, quilted pockets, linen emroidered skirt, embroidered jacket and a knitted scarf. All the pieces were hand-stitched, embroidered and knitted by me.

The stays pattern is self-drafted. The jacket was based on a pattern from Patterns of Fashion I.
